DAV Mukhyamantri Public School, Kewari is an English Medium, Co Education School situated in the peaceful environment of Village - Taparkela, Block- Lakhanpur of Surguja District, Chhattisgarh. It is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) since its initiation year of 2010. Earlier it was being managed by Chhattisgarh State Government by the name Govt. Model School Kewari but it is handed over to Dayanand Anglo Vedic College Managing Committee, New Delhi since June 2016 to run as per the standard of DAV. DAV is working as per the expectations and improvising the Academics, Sports and various other sectors for the all round development of the students. The Academic improvements can be seen in the result of Board Classes of X & XII in past years. Now school is focusing to give selections in Pre Engineering Tests, Pre Medical Tests and NDA Examinations. Our School is not limited to the classroom. It happens throughout campus each and every day through our student activities. 19 players have been selected in DAV National Games in past four years. They performed in the games like- Athletics, Taekwondo, Judo & Karate. Co- Curricular activities are meant to bring social skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in students. School is moving ahead to its excellence day by day.
